Berlin Energy Efficiency Day: From Potential to Momentum

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) is pleased to hold the Berlin Energy Efficiency Day on Monday, 17 March 2025, 13:00 – 19:00 CET. The event is part of the Berlin Energy Week and takes place the day before the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2025 (BETD).

The Berlin Energy Efficiency Day will convene the international Energy Efficiency Community to highlight the role of energy efficiency in the global energy transition, foster international collaboration, and identify political stepping stones. In addition to high level plenaries, the event will include parallel technical sessions on energy efficiency in the buildings and the industry sector.

The Berlin Energy Efficiency Day constitutes a steppingstone between COP29 and the IEA’s Energy Efficiency Summit in June in Brussels on our way to COP30 in Belem.
