- Acceptance of Terms and Conditions of Use
By accessing this website or its subdomain/s (“Site”), including the content accessible in connection therewith, you accept the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions of Use”). It is expressly understood that any commitment made by a third party is made by that third party alone and that EEMA accepts no liability associated with such commitment.
- Appropriate conduct when submitting information to EEMA and using the hashtag #energyefficiencymovement
Information submitted to EEMA through the Site must be correct and language and content which may be regarded as inappropriate must be avoided. All information submitted to EEMA must be in compliance with applicable laws.

- Abusive information
Any user can report incorrect, misleading or abusive Content which does not conform to these Terms and Conditions of Use by contacting EEMA’s system administrators using the link provided.
EEMA reserves the right to remove or change Content at its sole discretion, including Content which violates these Terms and Conditions of Use, without any liability to any third party.
EEMA reserves the right to expel users and prevent their further access to any services provided in relation to the Site or EEM for violating these Terms and Conditions of Use or the law.
- Systems and security
You expressly agree not to (i) use automated tools or manual processes to access, copy, or monitor the Site or any Content; (ii) obtain or attempt to obtain materials or information not intentionally made public on the Site; (iii) violate or attempt to violate Site security, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or employing hacking methods; (iv) interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Site.
- Your rights
Except to the extent provided in Section 5, EEMA claims no ownership or control over any content, including documentation, information, text and images, submitted by you. You or a third party licensor, as appropriate, retain all patent, trademark and copyright to any information you submit and you are responsible for protecting those rights.
- EEMA’s rights related to third party submitted information
By submitting information, you grant EEMA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to copy, modify, reproduce, adapt, display, transmit, distribute, make available, publish, license, or otherwise use, in whole or in part, the information. This license terminates with respect to any such information when such information is deleted from the Site.
- Liability
EEMA is not responsible for any damages, losses, liabilities, costs, claims or expenses (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) arising out of or related to the Site, the Content and/or the use of any of the foregoing.
- No partnership, trade association, professional gathering or legal entity
Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Use or use of hashtag #energyefficiencymovement on any social media platform or in any other way shall not be deemed or construed to create a partnership, trade association (or other professional gathering) or any form of legal entity.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions of Use shall be deemed or construed as creating an agency relationship between the parties and neither party shall take any action which could reasonably lead a third party to assume that it has the authority to bind the other party or make commitments on such party’s behalf.
