Understanding how industry is investing in energy efficiency is essential to accelerating the energy transition. Through our global Energy Efficiency Investment Survey, conducted every second year, we track how organizations across sectors are progressing, where barriers remain, and what is needed to scale implementation faster.
The survey is conducted by an independent third party across manufacturing, transportation, heavy industry, light industry, and energy sectors. It captures insights from organizations of all sizes — from small enterprises to global companies with more than 5,000 employees and multi-billion-dollar turnover — to better understand current and future investments in energy efficiency, electrification, digitalization, process optimization, and operational resilience.
