Energy efficiency is a crucial but often underexposed pillar in the energy transition.
It is the most important source of energy savings to reach the net-zero targets and the first step to safeguard the feasibility and especially the affordability of the energy transition.
This symposium will discuss the importance of energy efficiency, highlight the existing energy saving potential, quantify the financial and environmental benefits of energy efficiency investments and look at the interaction between different private and public actors.
